Objective
M. Dias Branco's People Administration is responsible for verifying payroll items and managing benefits for over 17,000 employees across more than 30 branches throughout Brazil.
Thus, M. Dias Branco faced challenges with large volumes of data to perform the manual verification of payroll items and benefits.
The company's goal was to accurately perform and streamline benefit reconciliation (medical and dental assistance, basic food basket, transport vouchers, etc.), ensuring accurate entries in employee payroll and provide summarized information to Controllership for the accounting close.
The challenge
Invoice entries and employee benefit items are posted to payroll in the current month. As a result, the timeline for meeting the schedule is very short
Countless spreadsheets reconciled one by one to validate payroll vs. invoices. We had to be very careful about exposing sensitive employee data
The high volume of data, the specific rules involved, and the range of benefits made it extremely difficult to calculate and verify the information
The solution
Processing multiple datasets simultaneously, while quickly identifying discrepancies and generating reports, was an immediate need for M. Dias Branco’s HR Operations team. This led our business team to design a strategy that addressed all these requirements.
To address this, we created data-matching processes tailored to each type of benefit, providing a view by business unit and a benefit reconciliation summary that centralizes all information and generates the final report required for analysis.
Today, M Dias Branco already has 10 processes implemented on the Dattos Platform, standardizing information and enabling end-to-end process management through a centralized view.
